- Role Overview
- The Commercial Operations Associate plays a critical role supporting revenue generation, client onboarding, and internal operations. This role exists to ensure sales execution is disciplined, onboarding is seamless, and internal processes scale efficiently as the business grows. The work is highly execution-focused, cross-functional, and hands-on, with exposure across sales, operations, and customer-facing workflows. This is an ideal role for a proactive, highly organized operator who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments and enjoys solving ambiguous problems with ownership.
Your Impact
- You will directly support revenue growth by enabling consistent outbound sales execution and clean pipeline management. You will ensure new customers experience a smooth onboarding process that sets them up for long-term success. Through process documentation and workflow improvements, you will help the company scale efficiently with fewer operational bottlenecks. Your work will improve internal clarity, execution speed, and overall team effectiveness.
- Core ResponsibilitiesSales Execution & Outreach – 40%
- Build and maintain targeted lists of prospective pharmacy accounts
- Research accounts to identify key decision-makers and stakeholders
- A/B test outbound messaging to improve response and conversion rates
- Manage outbound campaigns and schedule initial sales calls
- Track outreach activity, follow-ups, and pipeline progress with discipline
- Maintain CRM hygiene and support preparation for sales calls and proposals
- Initial Client Onboarding – 30%
- Create internal task lists using onboarding templates for signed contracts
- Send onboarding communications, schedule meetings, and coordinate next steps
- Ensure all required information and materials are collected during onboarding
- Support smooth handoffs between sales, product, and customer success teams
- Internal Operations & Process Improvement – 30%
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
- Write, document, and maintain SOPs and internal process documentation
- Support general administrative tasks and cross-functional coordination
- Assist with ad-hoc operational projects that support team execution
- Must-Haves (Required)
- 2+ years of professional experience (excluding internships)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate with limited resources
- Excellent prioritization skills with a clear understanding of business drivers
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with AI tools or LLMs such as ChatGPT
- Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
- Experience supporting sales operations or commercial teams
- Familiarity with healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated workflows
- Ability to automate tasks using Python or Excel macros
- Prior experience working at an early-stage startup
