  • Position Description
  • We are seeking a Product Owner / Delivery Manager to act as the primary liaison between actuarial teams, innovation leaders, and delivery squads. This role combines product ownership responsibilities with delivery management, ensuring alignment between business objectives and agile execution across distributed teams.
  • The ideal candidate is experienced in agile environments, comfortable working with senior stakeholders, and capable of coordinating delivery in nearshore models.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Act as the primary point of contact between actuarial teams, innovation leaders, and delivery teams
  • Own and manage the product backlog, including refinement, prioritization, and acceptance of user stories
  • Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups)
  • Manage sprint cadence and delivery planning, ensuring predictable and transparent execution
  • Coordinate delivery across onshore and nearshore/offshore teams, managing dependencies and risks
  • Ensure clear definition of business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Track delivery progress using agile metrics and report status to stakeholders
  • Identify and proactively address delivery risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies
  • Promote continuous improvement and agile best practices across teams
  • Workplace: Remote in Latin America

Must Have Skills

  • Proven experience in a Product Owner, Delivery Manager, or Agile Project Management role
  • Strong experience working in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid)
  • Experience managing distributed nearshore/offshore teams
  • Solid skills in backlog management, sprint execution, and release planning
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Advanced English proficiency for international collaboration.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Accounting and/or Insurance environments
  • Familiarity working with actuarial or innovation teams
  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven contexts
  • Background in cloud-based or enterprise platforms
  • Agile certifications such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar
