We’re preparing a pilot launch of an Android tablet app that plays video content and demographic-targeted video ads in real-world conditions (moving vehicles, unstable 4G/5G). We’re looking for a hands-on QA freelancer to help us validate stability, playback reliability, and production readiness. Critical requirement: Zero black / empty screens during operation. Scope • Test Android app (tablet-focused) • Video playback (MP4 / H.264 / 720p) • Ad insertion every 5 minutes • Long-running sessions (up to 10 hours) • Unstable cellular connectivity • Manual testing + targeted automation (~80% of critical flows) Timeline • Debug APK available: Mid–Late December • Pilot launch target: Mid-January • Engagement: 2–3 weeks, flexible / phased Deliverables • Structured test cases & execution reports • Clear bug reports with video evidence for failures • Automated tests for critical paths • Go / No-Go recommendation for pilot Budget USD 1,000–1,500 (Open to phased delivery) Must-Have Experience • Android QA (manual + automation) • Video / media playback testing • Long-running or kiosk-style apps Please include: • Relevant Android QA experience • Manual vs automation breakdown • Availability in December/January '26 • How you would test a 10-hour stability run
