  • Looking for an EMS service that truly cares about their team members? Look no further! Coastal Medical Transportation Systems is currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time 911 Paramedics to join our growing team!
  • Under the direction of the CMTS leadership team, physician medical director, and supervisory staff, paramedics will provide safe and effective ambulance-based medical care at the advanced life support level. They will respond to requests for ambulance transport of patients between healthcare facilities and other locations, and be able to respond to requests for emergency medical services.

  • Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or other equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of PB experience in a 911 environment
  • Currently certified and in good standing as a Paramedic by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Public Health (DPH), Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS).
  • Current Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association)
  • Current Advanced Life Support certification (American Heart Association)
  • Current motor vehicle operators license
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions using the English language.
  • Capable of individually lifting, carrying, transferring, and maneuvering up to 125 pounds (approximately 57 kilograms) during routine patient movement and ambulance operations, with or without their ambulance partner.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, transferring, and maneuvering a minimum of 250 pounds (approximately 113 kilograms) during routine patient movement and ambulance operations which includes the weight of the ambulance cot or other patient carrying device with ambulance partner.
