- The role
- As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will support the end-to-end US payroll process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll execution for employees and contractors. The role will manage payroll inputs, audit data for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, support tax and compliance requirements, and partner closely with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams across the region.
- This role requires advanced English skills, strong analytical capability, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced payroll environment.
- Role responsibilities
- Payroll Processing & Execution
- Assist in preparing and validating bi-weekly/monthly payroll files for US employees.
- Review and reconcile timesheets, variable compensation, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
- Process new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, salary adjustments and one-off payments.
- Support off-cycle payments when needed.
- Analytical Support & Data Integrity
- Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate discrepancies, resolve errors, and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain data integrity across payroll and HR systems.
- Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local labor/tax regulations.
- Maintain payroll documentation for internal controls and audit requirements.
- Support preparation of year-end forms (W-2, 1099, annual reconciliations, reporting).
- Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Generate payroll reports for Finance, HR, and leadership as required.
- Identify improvement opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Support system updates, testing and implementation within payroll platforms (Dayforce/ADP or equivalent).
- Employee Support & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.
- Partner with HRBP and Finance teams to resolve payroll questions and support workforce planning.
- Maintain service-level standards for response time and payroll issue resolution.
- Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications
- Experience in US payroll of at least +3 or +5 years
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong knowledge of US federal & state payroll regulations
- Experience with payroll systems (Dayforce/ADP, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Comfortable working independently with tight deadlines
