The Indirect & Equipment procurement team is responsible for the strategic sourcing of Indirect goods and services and equipment for Ecolab. We support all 3rd party spend outside of Direct raw material. The scope of responsibility is very diverse and supports all divisions and functions. Each category is supported by a Global leader that sets the strategic direction of the category as well as the sourcing plan. The Indirect Materials team embraces the TDC sourcing process, aspires to be a Global and a trusted advisor to all of our major stakeholders. Characteristics & Main Responsibilities of Position Provide to support for categories of majors spend Leads local/regional and supports global negotiations based on the strategies and needs of the businesses. Deploys foundational and advanced elements of Total Delivered Cost (TDC) Sourcing processes; Identifies and prepares market analysis and spend analysis components. Strengthens external networks with suppliers. Owns contract process for assigned category. Responsibility for ensuring contracts within the category are updated, accurate, and uploaded in the required contract system. Responsible for financial reporting of savings projects and headwinds. Manages the tight materials/services process to ensure security of supply Identifies alternate suppliers and/or alternate materials/processes and drives approval process Takes ownership monitoring project progress and delivering key project elements. Subject matter expert on sourcing processes supporting day-to-day in operations. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related Business or relevant experience in purchasing and supervision. More than five years of experience in indirect procurement.
