Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Club is seeking a Youth Program Manager to join the Outdoor Pursuits Department. The Youth Program Manager works within the OP department alongside the OP manager to ensure that the highest level of service is offered to the members of Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club by providing the members with personal, gracious and professional service throughout the Kids club. The Youth Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the Sessions in the forementioned areas of programming and the attendants designated to that area daily. The Youth Program Manager is responsible for delivering a world class service to the members while ensuring SOPs are followed for all kids’ camps, babysitting and outside activities. Key Responsibilities Manage the kids club and the youth leaders assigned to that area. Promote kids activities and come up with new and exciting events and activities for children aged 4-17 years. To liaise with the members daily regarding the scheduling of events and activities happening at the kid’s club. Ensure all equipment is well maintained and in good working order. Place monthly orders and ensure all essential items are stocked for the kid’s club and camps. Responsible for all activities that take place. Responsible for the babysitting requests and scheduling staff to ensure babysitting needs are met for our members. Oversight and management of the Youth Program team, events, activities, and curriculum. Ability to work collaboratively to build out relevant curriculum that incorporates the environment and geology of the surrounding area. Collaborate with team members to continue to modify and evolve the OP program and the youth curriculum and activities. Implement and maintain the policies and procedures for OP and the Youth Program which reflects the highest standard of operation and member service Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a 4-5 star resort setting or in the luxury related field. Previous experience in the guest service industry. Kids club/camp experience minimum 1 year. Experience in writing fun and exciting activities for children aged 4-17 years. Must be First aid certified. Qualification/s in early years in childcare/Advanced Childcare training. Skills and Abilities Applicant MUST be a STRONG swimmer with lifeguard training. Good judgment and decision making. Powerboat Level 2 preferred for safety of children when needed. Personable, approachable, creative and adventurous. Experience in hospitality is required. Taking care of all our members & guests needs. Ability to work flexible hours and on the weekends.
